On February 8th we hosted our first ever ‘Youth Conference’ at the Tune In building in Redcar. Bringing together over 100 young people from the local area to not only discuss issues in our community but also to engage with local authorities and organisations.
The event also provided workshops from guests such as the ambulance service, comic artist Julian Lawrence, Quinton Green from the Knife Crime Victim Support, John Robert Atkins and the Cleveland Police Crime Commissioner Barry Coppinger.
A full day filled with introductions, a forum of our local youth and an amazing rotation of workshops. The feedback from the event was amazing.
